Hi ppl

I changed the three batteries of mine fx-880p and now it does not make any operation and I can't enter in the 'memo' function and 'lib' function. How can I resolve this problem?
Thanks

1. Rotate the "Contrast" control dial.
2. Press the "P" button at back side of calculator.

Hello Sergei

Thanks, but your solution don't work.

In the cover of mine casio fx-880p is write "Do not remove the calculation/display batteries and the memory protection battery at the same time while replacing batteries.", but I have replaced all three at the same time, and now I can not do any operation, I have lose the "LIB" and "MEMO" functions, and the power switch don't work, the calculator is always powered on. I don't know what to do. If somebody can help me. Thanks

When you will replace batteries, the power switch may not work on the fx-880P (and also LIB functions). You must reset calculator by pressing the "P" button (press several times).
You may combine following solutions:
1. Press "P" button at the back side (or hold for 2-3 secs).
2. Press "ALL RESET" button at front side.
3. Remove and re-insert batteries after 5-10 mins.

Be sure that you really have pressed the "P" button (display will blank when "P" key holded down).

Hello my Russian friend Sergei

Thanks for your help, it really works.

I've done the following steps:

1. Press "P" button at the back side (or hold for 2-3 secs).
2. Press "ALL RESET" button at front side.
3. Power off and then power the calculator.

And the problem is gone

Thanks ones more

Rose :)
