Sorry, I don't think that's a CASIO fx-es scientific series or fx-es plus
This is the PCB of fx-82es VerB:
http
://tieba.baidu.com/fx-es%28ms%29/tupia...a37d122ec.html
And in fx-82es VerA, CPx contact is Px contact, and you can correct Px to update to fx-991es
You can press Shift' /> 7' /> [on] at the same time. Press Shift' /> some times, if that's really a CASIO fx-82es, it will disp
ROM 018 [or 021, that's OK. But if it disps ROM 013, I can sure
Mode P3 [fx-82es is P3, and 991es is P0]
Press OK
And because of this kind of Epoxy resin, I really don't think that's a CASIO fx-82es...
This is the PCB of fx-95es plus
http://tieba.baidu.c...e639db49ab.html
Its Epoxy Resin is smooth... but yours...
Sorry for my bad English.

Sorry For My Wrong Answer...
Actually, I have never seen this kind of 82es ver A in China...
There are two kind of VerA in China, one of these has a rubbish bin on the back, so we called "Rubbish Bin Version"...
PCB NO. is PWB-GY380-1 RCA501157-002V03
And it can only correct to P- but not P0 or P?
it means it can only has these more functions:SOLVE/Derivative/Integral/Sum [3 Modes, COMP, STAT, TABLE]
And 001V01 seems the oldest version, maybe didn't sell in China, just like fx-es plus verA.
Another version in China is VerA without the "Rubbish Bin", its PCB is the same as the "Rubbish Bin Version", even the PCB No. are same. But it can correct to P0 or P? [It means it can have full functions of fx-991es]
Why? All of these calculators are:
ROM 018
Mode P3
I can't understand.
the "rubbish bin" is like this:
