Admins are glad to announce to all the UCF competitors the prizes they're going to have.
These prizes will only apply for the first 3 places.
  • Super Member status (look at the end of the post)
  • 128x128 Avatars
  • Member title: "UCF BASIC Programming Champion" or "UCF ASM/C Programming Champion" according to their place
  • Given a special avatar and an image in the signature with the winning place title and a special contest logo, members willing to help design these images please look at the Design topic in the main forum.
  • Given an e-mail at the ucnetwork domain.
  • Bragging rights
  • The two 1st place winners will have a special dedicated page containing year, author, scoring, and judges. This will remain as long as the UCF remains, and future competition winners will be added there too.
  • I will create a full review on the first 3 winning ASM/C games (unless one of them is an RPG :P ).
  • All Casio site owners shall list them on their sites! (Do you agree? I do)
As for the French competitors that are already Moderators on the French Forum, they'll be given the images and the rest of the listed prizes.

ALL COMETITORS: The game you'd release in public MUST have the UCF competition title with the ranking if it's a winner, so all of you shall prepare the title in your games, and adding the ranking would be easy after it wins.
Just make sure that the title appears in an obvious place.

What will Super Members have more than normal ones?

i think the super members should have more options. they should at least be able to open and close other people's topics and choose their own member title.

All Casio site owners shall list them on their sites!

Does that mean, we have to list the winning games on our site, with links to them, or that we have to host the download.

This sure is a big publicity thing for the UCF! (which is great, of course)

Please do not double post after a short time! Only if the last post was about 2 or more hours ago!

i think the super members should have more options. they should at least be able to open and close other people's topics and choose their own member title.

then they would be moderators, and even moderators cant even change their member title, i think...

as for hosting the games, you wouldn't have to do that if you felt that you don't have enough space or something, you would have to at least link to the download on another page, I wouldn't mind if you did it to my site.

you only have to have the winners of the current year on your page, and we will make execptions in some cases, I would like 2072 to inforce this on the french forum too, especially since many of the competitors are french.

I'd like to purpose that we list all the games that dont win on the dedication page, but without descriptions, pictures, and author... just the name of the game. I think it will be good for seeing how popular the Competition becomes in later years

also, should their be some distinction between the prizes for the games and the prizes for programs (future competition)? I think their should.

another thing: what do you think about having to defend your title? what if each competition we not only compare the games from that competition but also compare the winners to the "best ever" position, and if the new ones (or one) are better they take the place of the old ones as best ever. opinions?
