Hi,
how many Mhz has the 9860? The CPU can go up to 133. But i have readen, that the calculator runs with 20 Mhz? Is this right? So I can overclock this up to 133 Mhz.

You can clock it to something like 80MHz. Know that it drains the battery faster.

Hey tuxianer and welcome to the UCF!

Actually, that 20MHz belief is false. I figured out the true clock speed while writing TERMINAL-fx (one of the coolest apps for the fx-9860G allowing calc-to-calc chatting): http://www.casiocalc...?showtopic=3511

The actual true clock speed is 14.74MHz. Max speed achievable by means of software is upto 58.96MHz. You could go up to 133MHz, but you'll have to open up your calculator and change the crystal yourself.

Battery drains faster, but you dont have temperature problems doing overclock?
