Casiocalc.org is a non-profit community website.

Cookies and tracking:

As 99.99% of internet websites, Casiocalc.org uses cookies to function and get useful usage statistics.

Additionally, Casiocalc.org uses Google Analytics which uses its own cookies, see Google's privacy policy to see how these data are stored and used by Google. Google provides a way for visitors to prevent their data from being used by Google Analytics

Casiocalc.org's internal tracking system doesn't share or export user data in any way.

There is currently no option on the website to opt-out of these tracking systems.

No option on any website will protect you from tracking. The best way to not be tracked is to take the matter into your own hands by learning how to configure your web browser's cookies handling and by installing privacy oriented web browsers extensions.

Personal information

The following personal information are automatically gathered during your use of the website:

• The information you choose to provide in your forum public profile (which is not used nor shared with any other entity but are, as implied, publicly accessible).

• Your IP address (the website's server needs it to send you the pages your request...). This information is logged and kept on the server for a certain amount of time. (Required by law and also to analyze potential attacks or fraud)

• Your IP address is also attached to the content you submit on the forum and visible by moderators and administrators (to deal with fraud and spam).

• You can edit your forum profile at any time and thus edit the personal information you provided.

You can contact the webmaster through the contact page or directly by email (webmaster AT casiocalc DOT org) for any request pertaining to these information.

Casiocalc.org does not exploit or use any of your personal information in unexpected ways. Since casiocalc.org is a public website on the Internet, once you publish content it may be copied and archived for ever by other entities who access casiocal.org from the Internet (such as archive.org).

Security measures in place

• Casiocalc.org enforces the use of HHTPS and uses secure HTTP only cookies.

• casiocalc.org scores A+ on SSL Labs and ImmuniWeb SSL security tests (click on the link to check the details).

• Forum passwords are hashed and salted.

• The server is maintained and fully patched against currently known security flaws.
